Zhu Zhu Rock Stars Are On The Move!

I can definitely say that the Zhu Zhu Rock Stars are on the move with the young set!  Yes, just this past week when my husband and I visited Epcot, Disney, we saw TWO young children pull out their Zhu Zhu Rock Star Hamsters out of backpacks and play with their pets while we were waiting for a shuttle bus to take us to the Park.

My husband saw them first and nudged me with a grin.  When I turned around, yep, two little girls were busy making friends with each other and had their hamsters out having fun.  One of them seemed to have an endless collection of them in her bag and the other one had Roxie and Ryder out showing them off and telling the other little girl all about how Roxie and Ryder had visited the Zhu Zhu Pet Salon the night before so they’d be all ready to visit Disney today.   When you get a load of the hair on these little Zhu Zhu Rock Stars, then you understand that they need some grooming to keep them in rock star shape!

We didn’t see the little girls again on our trip, but that scene kept playing in my mind.   The darling little Zhu Zhu hamsters certainly had a hand in helping a friendship just grow out of nowhere in a very unlikely place.

These teenage versions of the original Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters have attitude and rock star hair styles that look so cool and hip that kids just love them. They coo, squeak, giggle, and move just like the grown up versions, but they do it with teenage style.

New Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster Site

I’ve been so busy with some of my other sites that I’ve neglected this one, and that really isn’t fair to the Zhu Zhu Pets.

Squidoo has been where it’s at lately and I’ve created another Toy Hamster site there called Squiggles Play House.  Squiggles is pretty much in charge of that site and he introduces his wife and babies, his friends, and talks to you about his Zhu Zhu Mansion.  Check it out and see what you think.

ZhuZhu Pet Hamsters Available NOW!

ok, I was able to get my hands on a few more of these adorable little pets, just in time for Valentines Day! I have a few Num Nums, 1 Chunk, 1 Pipsqueak, and 2 Mr. Squiggles. I also was able to pick up the slide and the pool playset.

Welcome to the land of Zhu Zhu Playsets!   Can you believe it?  Hamsters!

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters to be exact!  

These ARE the IN toy this year and the kids are begging for playsets to go with these chirping, whirling hamsters!

Unlike the Furbies and Cabbage Patch years gone by, these little pet hamsters are very affordable (although there are periods where they are hard to find!), but the playsets that accessorize them are just a little bit more expensive.

They were created by a small 16 employee company which makes the sheer amount of these hamsters needed for the Holiday Season a nightmare production!   So please try to bear that in mind when you hear of neighbors going from store to store to store trying to get their hands on these high in demand toys.
